Description

High quality, RHP certified coco substrate based on the finest fibres of the coco husk.

Gold Label Coco is a light and fluffy substrate that contains natural trichoderma which colonise the root zone and protect against pathogens and other organisms.

Contains added nutrition, but has a very low EC, giving growers maximum control over nutrient content.

Suitable for seeds and cuttings.

How It Works

Optimum balance of air and water
Only mature, woody husks from prime coconuts are selected for Gold Label Coco. The result is a growing media with a complex airy structure and the ideal water/oxygen ratio for root development and nutrient solution uptake.

No salt – stable EC - healthier plants
The EC of every bag of Gold Label is 0.01, making nutrient management easy. This ultra-low salt level is achieved by sourcing low-salt coco from in-land, then flushing it with fresh water in Holland under strict agricultural RHP approved processes.

Feed your plants. Not the media
Gold Label Coco undergoes a thorough buffering process and is treated with Calcium Nitrate so that the coco remains pH and EC stable and doesn’t try to take up the nutrients meant for your plants.

More Information

Gold Label Coco is a result of an obsession with quality.

The producers wait until the coconut fibres are at their peak of maturity, they rinse the fibres twice and then buffer with trace elements until tests show the media meets Gold Label’s quality standards.
All of this is completed under strict commercial agricultural controls and every bag of Gold Label Coco is guaranteed to be free of insects, weeds and salt, and to provide roots with excellent access to oxygen.
